Use the housing resource for the question it answers
Mississippi Home Corporation publishes fair housing information covering disability and housing-related discrimination. It is a useful starting point for identifying assistance and program-related questions. Its general fair housing page should not be read as an individualized ruling that a particular ESA must be accepted.

Identify the property and its program
Record the full address, landlord or management company, and any housing program identified in your paperwork. If the home is connected to a specific program, ask which office handles accommodation requests and program complaints. Do not assume the same office handles every privately rented property.
Send a short request explaining the rule adjustment sought. Attach appropriate supporting information and retain the acknowledgment. A provider’s sales receipt does not document the property’s decision.
Ask the clinician about the complete service
Confirm authorization to practice at your appointment location and ask whether the clinician assesses ESA-related needs. Describe the animal and your own experience honestly. Clarify whether a housing form, corrections, or later verification would involve additional work or charges.
If a letter is issued, review it for factual accuracy and keep the original. If management refuses the request, retain its exact reason and any deadlines before seeking help. The useful next step depends on the disputed point; purchasing another document without understanding the refusal may leave that point unresolved.
