Price check

Housing was advertised at $139 on September 8, 2026. The page listed conflicting combined-package amounts; confirm your actual order total.

The housing price and the package discrepancy

ESA Pet’s pricing page displayed $139 for a housing letter when checked on September 8, 2026. Its combined-package amounts were inconsistent: $194.99 appeared in the package section and FAQ, while $154 appeared later in the same page. We therefore do not present one confirmed combined-package price. Source: ESA Pet pricing.

For a housing-only need, begin with the housing option. Ask support to confirm your selected service and final amount in writing if the payment screen differs from the advertised information. Treat a saved quote as a budgeting aid, not a promise that a promotion will remain available.

Build a complete quote, not just a headline price

Before paying, write down the base service, any optional additions, the total due now, and any future charge. That simple record makes a comparison useful even when two providers label their packages differently.

  • Animals: ask how many animals the selected evaluation covers. ESA Pet says additional fees may apply for more than one pet.
  • Forms: if your housing office has supplied an extra form, send a question about its cost before ordering.
  • Timing: confirm whether a faster option concerns appointment availability or delivery after an assessment.
  • Follow-up: ask who handles a factual correction or a verification inquiry and whether a charge applies.

Use the actual form and your actual deadline in the question. “Do you include landlord support?” can produce a less useful answer than asking whether a particular verification request is included.

Check recurring billing separately

ESA Pet’s terms describe an optional annual subscription. If you select one, check the next charge, renewal date, and cancellation procedure. A clinical reassessment, a housing office’s documentation request, and a billing subscription are different events. Source: ESA Pet terms, section 6.

Keep your order confirmation somewhere you can find it later. If a checkout option is unclear, resolve it before submitting payment. Our refund and cancellation guide explains the published timing rules and the questions they leave open.

Choose the service that matches the purpose

A package name containing “travel” does not itself establish airline access. An emotional support animal letter does not turn an animal into a trained service dog. Read the air travel guide before buying an additional service for a flight.

Likewise, a housing evaluation fee pays for the provider’s service; it does not purchase a housing decision. If a landlord has already refused a request, first identify whether the issue concerns documentation, legal coverage, or another stated reason. Buying more paperwork without answering that question can leave the original problem unresolved.

Your next step

If you understand the service, total cost, and terms, review the ESA Pet evaluation overview and confirm availability for your location. If you are still comparing options, use our provider comparison checklist with the same requirements for each service.
