Know the North Carolina housing channel

Tell the evaluator about the actual home
Bring the property’s request and explain the policy adjustment you seek. Ask the professional to assess your own disability-related circumstances and the animal’s role, rather than merely complete a document from a sample. Confirm practice authorization for your physical appointment location.
If you already have a letter, explain why new information is being requested. A change of management, a different animal, and a new clinical situation are distinct reasons for a follow-up conversation.
Respond with a clear record
Keep the housing policy, your accommodation request, supporting documentation, and the reply in sequence. If a portal is used, save its confirmation and the exact file uploaded. Ask management to identify any remaining information needs clearly.
For an alleged discriminatory refusal, seek advice promptly with the property facts and dates. Do not assume that continuing to exchange emails suspends an applicable deadline. If the issue is ordinary care or behavior, address it as well; an ESA letter does not by itself organize supervision or prevent property damage.
