Use the city’s housing education resource

Orlando’s Human Relations office publishes fair housing education resources addressing discrimination, resident rights, and assistance. Use that local starting point to identify the appropriate current contact and process. An educational program description is not an individualized accommodation approval.

Clarify whether this is housing or travel

A long-term home and a short hotel or vacation rental stay should not be treated as the same request. Tell the clinician and any adviser what arrangement is actually involved. An ESA letter prepared for an apartment does not automatically resolve a theme-park visit, hotel booking, or flight.

For a residence, identify the property’s accommodation contact and animal policy. For a trip, use our booking guide and verify the operator’s current policy.

Build the Florida documentation file

Read the state guide, then discuss your own circumstances and animal with the evaluating professional. Confirm their authorization for where you will attend the appointment.

Submit the housing request with appropriate support and retain the response. If a fee, denial, or deadline is disputed, gather the relevant statement or notice before seeking help. Buying a package labeled Orlando does not establish a local clinic or guarantee the property’s decision.
